September 2008

Olivia and Maddox enjoying popsicles on one of the last summer days! This is at Menominee Zoo.

We went to Blue Harbor for Labor Day! It was awesome! We will be back!

Olivia went down all of the slides! She even took Aina (her doll) down a few rides!

Grant and I enjoyed the Lazy River! Look at him relaxing with his hands under his head! He sure has it made!

Olivia LOVES to drive her barbie jeep! This is a great picture describing our little girl...always wearing a hat, loves to wear dresses (even in 60 degree weather!), and driving her jeep! :) What a looker!

Grant loves to climb under things. Here he is under our stools in the kitchen! He is ALL boy!

Hello Friends and Family!

The year is off to a great start! We spent our January doing many inside fun activities seeing this winter is cold and everlasting!

Ted is doing very well and keeping busy in this economy, which we are thankful for. He, unlike me, does not mind winter. However, I even heard a few swear words under his breath while having to go shovel AGAIN! We are all looking forward to Spring.

Olivia had a great January! We attended many "field trips" this month through The Active Moms group! Every event is fun! I am even learning a thing or two! In talking about learning, we signed Olivia up for Pre-K coming up Fall of this year. She is excited and talks about "her school" every time we pass it on the road!

Grant is a machine all day, every minute of the day! He is an active boy to say the least. My predictions for him are basketball as he seems to LOVE throwing everything in a basket-whether the basket is the toilet, hamper, bathtub, or bucket. After retrieving about 10 spices from the toilet, I knew this little boy is going to be trouble-especially seeing that he opens and closes the lid and I found out when I had to pee. I just laughed at my boy-he melts my heart! There is truth to a boy having mommy’s' heart! He sure has mine!

As for me, I am keeping very busy at home. It is such a blessing to "be there" while my kids are growing up! I am grateful to be home, especially in this economy. Outside of the home, I have my fun at Monday night Volleyball, friend gatherings, and training for the 1/2 marathon. I am looking forward to spring like no other. However, am enjoying the winter months to get "projects" done throughout the house.
